Edit: Refiltering the previous purified water, I noticed how the water soaked through the cloth more quickly than last time. Having no dirt or sand mixed with the water, it's flow was faster than usual.

Observation: On our third refilter, we changed the paper towels because the tiny particles of dirt hidden within the filtered water might flow within the water once poured again. The water has become a tad lighter than before.

ReplyDeleteYou have some very thoughtful comments on the success of your experiment and I really liked how detailed your instructions were on how you performed the experiment. It is interesting that you found the water to flow faster once you had cleared the big chunks from it.
